Do yourself a favour, and don't believe in any of them.

If you had to believe in this sort of stuff, stick to Father Christmas, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy. They're far nicer on humanity.

I don't Barty, but sometimes I wish I did.

Great song.

Best of luck with getting out and getting better, son.

Re: Do you believe in God?
Don't worry about what others believe or don't believe - whatever works for you is the only thing you should concern yourself with.

And good luck for when you get home and start bringing it all back under management.

Whenever I see this question I think of the likes of Myra Hindley and Ian Brady

So ….. it’s a 100% NO from me

How can you NOT believe in God?

He just drowned 3 kids on that frozen lake for a change from killing hundreds of thousands with COVID
He moves in mysterious ways and is VERY busy

Re: Do you believe in God?
All the best to you Barty.

As far as God goes, no I don’t believe in it.

Never believed in it when I was dragged to Church when I was younger and believe it even less now.

As mentioned by others there are too many bad things happening in the world to suggest there is some all powering God looking over us all with good intentions.

It’s also amusing that all these different religions and faiths maintain their’s is the real
God.

Why people would spend their whole lives praying and asking for forgiveness to something that has never been proven to be real is strange to me but each to their own.

Re: Do you believe in God?
we live in a world where its now accepted that some women have penises and men can have periods.

if you believe that then you can believe anything.

Re: Do you believe in God?
Yes, I am a practicing Catholic. Doesn't make me a better person (as people often interpret someone stating their religion to mean), It's statement of what I am aiming at to be a better person. I always fall short.

Whatever your religion, believing in God is swimming against the cultural tide, at least in what's left of white British society. Most people, especially in place like this forum, will think I (and other believers) am bit thick or a marginal person. They may well be right. They may well have thought that before they knew my beliefs. But when there's a social cost to your belief, at least you can take consolation that your beliefs are your own and not someone else's.

Re: Do you believe in God?
Wils, I make you right. Have always though that if everybody tried to follow the teachings of Jesus (whether they beieved in God, or not), the world would be a far better place (once we have executed all the protestants, muslims and jews - only joking)
